Ponds and tanks
Small bodies of water are scattered throughout the town, as in many settlements on the Tripura plain. On the poster they read as clean, light shapes breaking up the network of lanes.

Madhuban Map Poster & Print
Madhuban lies in the western part of Tripura, a short distance south of the state capital Agartala. It sits on the flat, well-watered ground typical of this corner of northeast India. From above, the town has no tight grid. Roads follow field edges and older paths, and houses cluster along them. Ponds, groves and rice paddies fill the spaces in between, giving the map a loose, organic pattern.
Tripura is a small, largely rural state almost surrounded by Bangladesh, and that landscape shows clearly in the linework. Low hillocks, known locally as tillas, rise gently out of the plain, and the streets bend around them rather than climbing over. Water appears everywhere: tanks and ponds are scattered among the houses as small, crisp shapes, each one a pale opening in the black ink.
Because Madhuban is small, its character comes through in detail rather than in landmarks. A Madhuban map poster shows the settlement thinning out into farmland on every side. It also shows the main roads linking it to Agartala and the quieter lanes branching off them. The result is a portrait of an ordinary place drawn with care, and it means most to people who know it.

Roads toward Agartala
The state capital lies just to the north. The routes connecting the two towns give the map its strongest lines, cutting across a softer pattern of village paths and field boundaries.
Hillocks and fields
Low rises and cultivated land surround the built-up area. Streets curve to follow the terrain, so the town's edge fades gradually into open ground instead of ending at a hard line.
