Mercedes Map Poster & Print
Mercedes lies in the Pampas west of Buenos Aires, on the flat, fertile grassland of Buenos Aires Province. It began in the eighteenth century as a frontier fort, and it grew in the Spanish colonial pattern, with a regular grid of square blocks arranged around a central plaza.
From above, the grid is almost perfectly even, block after block across flat ground. The Luján River provides the one natural exception, winding past the town in loose curves and bordered by green parkland. Beyond the last streets, the countryside turns into large rectangular fields, the classic landscape of the Pampas.
A Mercedes map poster shows the contrast between orderly streets and a meandering river. It depicts a town that is quiet, provincial and carefully planned, and it looks especially good in a clean monochrome style.

The Luján River
The river winds along the edge of town in slow curves and provides the only natural break in the grid.
Pampas fields
Beyond the town, very large rectangular fields spread across flat land, framing the grid with wide, open shapes.

Mercedesを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For people from Mercedes, or anyone who loves the orderly towns of the Pampas, this map is both familiar and graphically striking. The grid looks precise on any wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or a date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint emphasises the geometry well.
