Nelamangala Map Poster & Print
Nelamangala lies in Karnataka, a short drive northwest of Bengaluru. Its layout is shaped above all by roads. National highways towards Mumbai and towards the coast at Mangaluru split near the town, so the map shows broad road lines meeting in a wide junction. The older, denser streets of the town sit to one side of this crossing.
Around the built-up area, the land is dotted with tanks, the shallow reservoirs common across the Karnataka plateau. On the map they appear as irregular pools of water among fields and new developments. As Bengaluru's influence spreads outward, warehouses, layouts and housing are filling in the spaces between the old town and the highways.

Old town streets
The older core is a tight tangle of narrow lanes, very different from the broad highways. In monochrome it reads as a dense, textured patch at the centre of the sheet.
Plateau tanks
Shallow reservoirs are scattered around the town. Their soft, irregular outlines break up the fields and newer layouts and give the map points of open water.
