Wasatch edge
The street grid ends where the mountain slopes rise steeply. On the map it looks like a clean edge between the town and the empty mountain side.

North Ogden Map Poster & Print
North Ogden is in Weber County, Utah, at the northern end of the Wasatch Front. It sits on the sloping bench at the base of the mountains, with Ben Lomond Peak rising behind it. The street plan follows the Mormon-settlement grid, with long straight roads running north–south and east–west. Toward the mountains, the pattern becomes more irregular.
North Ogden has a long history of fruit growing, and its annual Cherry Days festival still recalls it. On the map, the transition from town to mountain is sharp. The grid ends at the foot of the slopes, and only a few roads continue up, including the winding road over North Ogden Pass. To the west, the city merges with the neighbouring communities of the Ogden area.
A North Ogden map poster is defined by that contrast: an even grid of streets, and a mountain wall where it all stops. The composition is strong and clear, and it works especially well in Noir, where the empty mountain area becomes a deep, dark space.

Long straight roads follow the regular grid of Utah settlements. They divide the city into large blocks with residential streets in between.
North Ogden Pass
A road winds up from the city through the pass into the mountains. It is one of the few curved lines crossing the upper part of the map.
