Olupona is a town in Osun State in southwestern Nigeria, in the wooded, farmed countryside of the Yoruba heartland. From above, the settlement spreads along its main roads, with clusters of houses and smaller lanes branching from them. Farmland and trees surround the built-up area, and the edges of the town blend gradually into the rural landscape.
