Oulad Tayeb is a commune in the Fès-Meknès region of Morocco, on the flat and fertile Saïss plain south of the city of Fès. It lies close to Fès–Saïss Airport, and on the map the long straight runway is one of the clearest features in the area.
The settlement pattern mixes old and new. Traditional villages sit alongside newer residential neighbourhoods built as Fès has expanded outward. Farm plots cover the land between them in a patchwork of fields, crossed by straight roads and irrigation lines. The plain is known for its agriculture, supplying cereals, olives and vegetables to the region.
