Pardīs Map Poster
Pardīs is a new town built east of Tehran, in the foothills of the Alborz mountains. From above, it looks different from older Iranian cities. It is divided into separate phases, each with its own planned street layout, spread across a hilly and largely dry landscape. A major road links the town to Tehran, and the gaps between districts leave plenty of open ground.
The town was developed to take pressure off the capital, providing housing for people who work in and around Tehran. It is also home to the Pardis Technology Park, one of Iran's main centres for technology companies and research-based businesses, which sits as a distinct district within the town.
A Pardīs map poster shows a modern planned landscape.
