Village lanes
Narrow, irregular lanes mark the older settled core, packed tightly together and forming the darkest, most intricate part of the map.

Roshanpura Map Poster & Print
Roshanpura is part of the Najafgarh area in South West Delhi, on the outer edge of the capital close to the Haryana border. On a map it appears as a close weave of narrow lanes and small plots, the typical fabric of Delhi's urban villages, with main roads running through toward central Delhi and surrounding towns. Open fields and newer colonies lie not far beyond.
The area grew from older village settlements that were gradually absorbed as Delhi expanded outward. Najafgarh has long served as a market centre for the rural south-west of the territory, and the Najafgarh drain, one of the major waterways of the region, runs through this part of Delhi on its way toward the Yamuna.
A Roshanpura map poster offers a view of Delhi that rarely appears on souvenirs: not monuments and boulevards, but the fine-grained streets where most people actually live. In black and white the density of the lanes becomes an intricate pattern, bordered by broader roads and the more open land at the edge of the city.

Arterial roads
Wider roads cut through the neighbourhood toward the Najafgarh market and on to central Delhi, giving the dense pattern a clear structure.
City's edge
Beyond the built-up area the map opens into fields and new colonies, a reminder that Delhi's rural fringe is only a short distance away.

Roshanpuraを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For families who have lived in Roshanpura for generations, or who moved here more recently, a map of the neighbourhood is a personal alternative to the usual pictures of Delhi landmarks. It marks the place as home rather than a tourist view.
Change the title to your street or family name, add a subtitle and coordinates, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files for $9 come in six sizes at 300 DPI, ready for any printer.
