Simonésia Map Poster & Print
Simonésia is a municipality in the eastern part of Minas Gerais, in the hilly Zona da Mata region near the border with Espírito Santo. The landscape here is steep and folded, and coffee is an important crop on the surrounding slopes. On a map, the town fits into the bottom of a valley, with its streets following the gentle curves of the terrain.
The urban area is small. A few main streets run along the valley floor and short cross streets climb up the hillsides. Beyond the edge of town, winding roads lead through farmland and forest to rural communities, and their many switchbacks trace the shape of the hills.
A Simonésia map poster gives a clear picture of a quiet interior town in Minas Gerais. The compact centre sits in the middle, surrounded by a network of rural roads that meander across the hills. The balance of small built-up area and open countryside makes a calm, airy print.

Winding rural roads
Roads leaving town twist through the hills in long curves and hairpins, drawing the landscape's relief without a single contour line.
Coffee hill country
Farms and forest cover the surrounding slopes. On the map this appears as wide open space crossed only by thin lines.
