Sunrise Map Poster & Print
Sunrise lies in western Broward County, Florida, between the Fort Lauderdale area and the Everglades. On a map, it is a classic postwar planned suburb. Its curving streets, cul-de-sacs and gated communities are organised around lakes and canals. Straight arterial roads divide the city into large blocks, and to the west the Sawgrass Expressway marks the transition to wetlands.
The city was developed from the 1960s onward, and its layout reflects the South Florida approach of digging lakes and canals for drainage and fill. Sunrise is home to Sawgrass Mills, one of the largest outlet malls in the United States. Nearby is the arena where the Florida Panthers play their home games. Both form large, recognisable shapes in the west of the city.
A Sunrise map poster turns a suburban plan into a surprisingly graphic design. Water bodies appear as scattered shapes between curving streets, while the straight arterials create a firm frame. The large parcels near the expressway add weight to one side. The drawing feels calm, orderly and very South Florida.

Sawgrass Mills area
The huge outlet mall and nearby arena occupy large plots near the western edge, easy to recognise from above by their scale.
Everglades edge
To the west, beyond the Sawgrass Expressway, development gives way to the Everglades, and the street grid stops at the wetland.

Sunriseを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
A Sunrise poster suits Panthers fans, families who have made a home in western Broward, and anyone who has moved to South Florida for its space and light. The mix of water and curving streets gives it an unusual, relaxed rhythm.
Add a family name, a move-in date or a game night to the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files cost $9, and matte prints ship with an optional wooden frame.
