Tandlianwala is a tehsil town in Faisalabad District, in the heart of Punjab's canal colony farmland. The land here is almost completely flat. The map is shaped by irrigation: straight canals and distributaries cut across the plain, and field boundaries follow them in a regular pattern that stretches to the horizon.
The town is a compact knot within that grid. Older lanes near the bazaar are close and irregular, while newer streets are wider and straighter. Roads leave the town toward Faisalabad and the surrounding villages. Each village appears on the map as a small cluster set among the fields.
