The north coast
The Java Sea shoreline near Tayu is low and uneven. Fishponds and small inlets break it up, so on paper the boundary between land and water looks more like a soft fringe than a hard edge.

Tayu Map Poster & Print
Tayu sits on the north coast of Central Java, in Pati Regency, where the land flattens out before it reaches the Java Sea. From above, the town is a compact knot of streets along the main coastal road. Rectangles of rice fields and aquaculture ponds spread out around it and run up to an irregular, low shoreline.
West of town the ground rises gently toward the Muria massif, an old volcanic mountain that stands apart from the rest of Java's volcanic spine. On a map this gives Tayu an unusual setting: sea on one side, uplands on the other, and a narrow strip of farmed plain between them that the roads have to follow.
A Tayu map poster turns this in-between landscape into a clear line drawing. You see the coastal road, the finer lanes of the kampung neighbourhoods, and the thin channels that drain the fields toward the sea. There are no grand boulevards here. What the map shows is the ordinary pattern of a working coastal town on Java's north shore.

Muria foothills
To the west the land starts climbing toward Mount Muria. The street grid thins out on the rising ground, and the roads change from straight lines to curves that follow the terrain.
Field geometry
Around the town, rice paddies and ponds form a patchwork of small rectangles. Ditches and field paths divide them, which gives the edges of the poster a fine, regular texture.

Tayuを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
People who grew up on Java's north coast, or have family there, often want a picture of home that is more than a photograph. A map keeps the whole layout in view: the road, the shore, the fields. It works as a quiet reminder of place in any room.
You can set your own title and subtitle, adjust the coordinates line, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The poster comes as an instant HD download or as a print on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
