Tīlīlī is a town in the Amhara region of Ethiopia, on the high plateau west of Lake Tana's southern basin. It is a highland settlement, and its main road shapes the map. Houses and side streets gather along the route and branch off into short lanes that fade into the surrounding farmland.
The plateau around the town is farmed land, divided into small plots and crossed by footpaths and streams. On a street map, much of this appears as open space. The town itself forms a clear, compact cluster in the middle of a quiet landscape with few roads.
