Varam Map Poster & Print
Varam is a census town in Kannur district in northern Kerala, not far from Kannur city. Like much of this part of the Malabar coast, it has no single dense centre. From above, houses are spread along winding roads and lanes, each surrounded by its own garden and trees, so the town looks like a continuous, lightly built landscape instead of a compact block.
The roads follow the gentle rise and fall of the land and bend around low hills and fields. Small junctions with shops and schools act as local centres, and quieter paths lead off into the greenery. On a map the result is a branching network, like the veins of a leaf, with few straight lines and plenty of open space between them.
A Varam map poster suits this spread-out pattern. The roads create a fine web across the frame, while the space between them suggests the gardens and palms that fill the real landscape. It is an understated map of an ordinary Kerala place, and for people who come from here it shows the paths between home, school and the market.

Scattered homesteads
Houses sit among their own gardens and trees along the roads. The settlement looks continuous but low in density, typical of northern Kerala.
Proximity to Kannur
Varam lies close to Kannur city. Its roads connect into the larger network of the district, and the map shows this link in its main routes.

Varamを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Many people from Kannur district live and work far from home, in other Indian cities or the Gulf. A map of Varam brings that familiar landscape into a new home and makes a considered gift for family.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a house name or a special date, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters are available too.
