Valley streets
The centre stretches along the valley bottom, where the ground is flattest. This gives the urban area a long, uneven shape instead of a compact block.

Vargem Alta Map Poster & Print
Vargem Alta lies in the mountainous south of Espírito Santo, inland from the coast, in a region of steep hills, small valleys and farmland. The name means high meadow. The town fits into the terrain rather than overriding it: streets follow valley floors and ridgelines, and the built-up area stretches out along the lower ground.
The surrounding countryside is agricultural and hilly, with small rural properties, winding roads and pockets of forest. On a map this gives the town an irregular outline, with roads snaking away along the contours toward rural communities and nearby municipalities.
A Vargem Alta map poster shows how much the hills shape the town. There is no grid. Instead the lines bend, fork and follow the land, and the open space around the centre suggests the slopes and valleys a minimalist map leaves out. The result is organic and quietly dramatic.

Winding mountain roads
Roads leave town by climbing and curving through the hills. On the poster they become flowing lines reaching toward the edges of the frame.
Rural surroundings
Farmland and forest surround the town on every side. In a minimal style these areas stay open and pale, emphasising how small the settlement is within its landscape.

Vargem Altaを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Vargem Alta is a place people leave for the coast or for bigger cities, and a map is a simple way to keep the hills close. Add the family name, a birth year or the coordinates of your home.
Five styles are available: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper and Sand suit the rural setting, and Classic keeps the winding roads crisp. You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line.
