Villa Sarmiento is a locality in the Morón partido, in the western suburbs of Greater Buenos Aires. Like much of the metropolitan area, it sits on the flat land of the pampa, and its streets follow the regular block grid that shapes nearly every neighbourhood between the city centre and the outer suburbs.
From above, it is a dense, even pattern of square and rectangular blocks, broken only by a few wider avenues, rail corridors and the occasional park or plaza. The edges between Villa Sarmiento and its neighbours are almost invisible on the ground, so the map reads as a section of a much larger, continuous urban fabric.
