The Charles River
The river loops through the centre, past the former mill district. It creates the main natural line of the map and divides the city into north and south.

Waltham Map Poster & Print
Waltham grew up along the Charles River about ten miles west of Boston. The river curves through the city, and the older, denser streets gather along its banks where the mills once stood. Further out, the grid loosens into residential neighbourhoods, wooded conservation land and the curving interchanges of Route 128.
The city has a notable place in industrial history. The Boston Manufacturing Company built an early integrated textile mill here in the 1810s, and later the Waltham Watch Company made the city known as the Watch City. The mill buildings still sit beside the river, and the downtown common lies just to the north.
Waltham is also a college city, home to Brandeis University and Bentley University, whose campuses appear as distinct clusters of curving paths on the hills. A Waltham map poster brings all of this together: river, mills, campuses and the highway belt of the Boston suburbs.

Route 128 belt
The circumferential highway runs along the western side of the city. Its interchanges and office parks show up as large, sweeping curves.
Hilltop campuses
Brandeis and Bentley sit on higher ground. Their winding internal roads look quite different from the surrounding residential streets.

Walthamを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Waltham is a place people pass through at important moments: a university degree, a first job along 128, a first apartment near Moody Street. A map of the city records that period in a quiet, graphic way.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a graduation year or a move-in date. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir makes the curves of the Charles stand out well.
