Welingara Map Poster & Print
Welingara lies in the Kombo area of The Gambia, part of the wider urban region spreading inland from Banjul and Serekunda. Its map shows a place in growth. Older, irregular lanes near the centre give way to newer blocks laid out more regularly, and open plots still wait between them.
Main roads connect the community to Serekunda, Brikama and the coast, forming the strongest lines on the map. Between them, sandy side streets create a dense, fine pattern. At the edges, the built area thins into farmland, bush and scattered trees.
A Welingara map poster captures an in-between moment in a changing landscape, part village and part suburb. The mix of organic lanes and planned blocks gives the composition an interesting texture, one that will look different in a few years as the Kombo region keeps expanding.

New street blocks
Newer neighbourhoods follow more regular layouts with rectangular plots. They are a sign of the steady growth across this part of The Gambia.
Open edges
At the edges of the community, fields and bush remain. The soft transition from street to open land frames the map naturally.
