Zemoura is a town in Relizane Province in north-western Algeria, in the hilly country of the Tell between the coast and the high plateaus. On a map, it appears as a compact settlement, with a modest centre of closely spaced streets and a few main roads leading out toward neighbouring towns and villages.
The land around it is shaped by agriculture. Fields fill the gentle slopes, and farm tracks cross them in irregular lines, sometimes following the contours of the hills and sometimes cutting straight across. Small ravines and seasonal watercourses leave faint traces, dividing the countryside into uneven sections.
