Alaplı Map Poster & Print

Alaplı is a coastal town in Zonguldak Province on Turkey's western Black Sea coast. From above, it spreads along a short stretch of shoreline where the Alaplı River reaches the sea. The flat ground here is limited, so the streets fill the lowland near the river mouth and then climb into the green hills behind.

The river is the defining feature on the map. It crosses the town in a broad curve before it opens into the sea, and bridges link the two banks. The town has a long connection with boatbuilding near its riverside and coast. Behind it, the coastal road heads east towards Ereğli and Zonguldak.

An Alaplı map poster shows a town wedged between water and hills. The smooth coastline, the river winding through the centre and the dense streets packed onto the valley floor create a composition that feels clearly shaped by the Black Sea.

River mouth

The Alaplı River curves through the town and flows into the Black Sea. It divides the map and gives it a strong natural line.

02

Black Sea shore

The coastline forms a clean edge along the north of town. In black and white, the sea becomes a calm open space at the top of the poster.

03

Hillside edges

Streets thin out as the land rises into the forested hills behind the coast. The fading grid gives the map a soft, natural frame.

Cur Alaplı

Tabula quae aliquid significat

Alaplı is a place many families return to in summer, and many left for Istanbul or Ankara but still call it home. A map of its river and shoreline brings back the Black Sea on any wall.

You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line, even adding the town's name with its Turkish letters. Choose between five styles, including Blueprint for a cool marine look, and download or order a matte print.
