Allerød Map Poster & Print
Allerød lies in North Zealand, north of Copenhagen, and its map shows a landscape of woods, lakes and fields with the town itself spread along the railway. The S-train line runs through it on a north–south axis, and the stations at Lillerød and Allerød anchor the main clusters of streets. Around them, residential areas curl in loops and cul-de-sacs, the typical pattern of Danish suburbs built in the second half of the 20th century.
Between the settlements, the map opens into forests and several lakes, which show up as irregular pale shapes framed by paths. The landscape was formed by ice, and it's gently rolling rather than flat. The town gave its name to the Allerød oscillation, a warm interval at the end of the last ice age, first identified from deposits found here.
An Allerød map poster shows a place where town and countryside are interwoven. Housing areas stop at the edge of woods, lakes sit between neighbourhoods, and the railway ties it all to Copenhagen. It's a map for commuters, families and anyone who knows the paths between the stations and the forests.

Looping suburbs
Residential areas are laid out in curves, loops and closed roads, and the repeated shapes create a soft, organic texture in the linework.
Lakes and woods
Forests and lakes fill the spaces between neighbourhoods, and the open areas give the map balance and show how close the countryside is.

Cur Allerød
Tabula quae aliquid significat
Allerød is a place where many people raise their families, commuting to Copenhagen and walking in the woods on weekends. A map of its roads, lakes and stations is a quiet portrait of that everyday life.
