Aoulouz Map Poster & Print
Aoulouz lies in the upper Souss valley in southern Morocco, in Taroudant Province, where the valley narrows between the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas. From above, the town is a compact grid of streets beside the riverbed, surrounded by irrigated farmland. The mountains on both sides are left open on the map and frame the valley floor.
The main landmark nearby is the Aoulouz dam on the Souss, which stores water for agriculture farther down the valley. On the map, the reservoir and the wide, braided riverbed are the most distinctive natural shapes. Roads follow the valley east and west, linking Aoulouz with Taroudant and the towns toward the interior.
An Aoulouz map poster combines the regular street pattern of a small valley town with the looser forms of the river, fields and reservoir. The farmland adds a fine texture, and the mountain slopes provide broad calm space. It is a clear picture of how settlement and water fit together in the Souss.

Souss riverbed
The wide, often braided river channel runs along the valley. It forms a broad, soft band beside the compact streets of the town.
Irrigated fields
Farmland lines the valley floor in small plots and channels. On the poster it creates a delicate pattern between the town and the mountains.
