Arabian Sea shoreline
The coast runs as a long, clean edge along the western side of the map. It anchors the composition and contrasts with the intricate inland lanes.

Azhiyūr Map Poster & Print
Azhiyūr lies on the north Malabar coast of Kerala, in the stretch of shoreline near the small Puducherry enclave of Mahé. The Arabian Sea forms a firm western edge on the map. Inland, the pattern loosens into the dispersed settlement typical of this coast, with houses set among coconut palms and linked by a web of narrow lanes rather than gathered into a single dense centre.
That dispersed layout makes for an unusual poster. Instead of a clear downtown, the eye follows fine lines that branch, loop and reconnect across the whole frame. A main coastal road provides the spine, running roughly parallel to the shore, while smaller paths feed toward the beach, the backwaters and neighbouring villages.
An Azhiyūr map poster is a quiet keepsake for Malayali families at home or abroad, especially those in the Gulf and beyond who keep strong ties to their village. The shoreline and the delicate lane network make it recognisable at a glance to anyone who knows this coast.

Dispersed lane network
Narrow roads branch through the palm-covered land in every direction, linking scattered homes. The result is a fine, even texture instead of a single dense centre.
Coastal road spine
A main road follows the coast north to south, tying Azhiyūr to neighbouring towns. It gives the delicate street pattern a clear backbone.

Tabula quae aliquid significat
For people who live far from Kerala, a map of the home village can mean more than a photograph. It shows the lanes you actually walked, the road to the shore and the shape of the coast.
Add a family name, a village name in Malayalam transliteration or a date, and choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. Get the $9 HD files for local printing, or order a matte poster with an optional wooden frame.
