Bay is a municipality in Laguna province, on the southern shore of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the Philippines. The lake is named after the town, which was an important early settlement on its shores. On a map the water forms a broad northern edge, with the town extending south towards higher ground.
The poblacion lies near the lakeshore, organised around a church and plaza with a modest grid of streets. Beyond it, barangays spread across flat, partly agricultural land, and the national highway through the area draws a strong line along the southern side of the lake.
A Bay map poster pairs a small town centre with a vast body of water, a combination that reads particularly well in styles where water is rendered as a single calm tone. The neighbouring town of Los Baños and the slopes of Mount Makiling lie nearby, visible on a wider framing.

Poblacion and plaza
The historic centre, laid out around the church and plaza, sits close to the lake and forms the most regular, compact part of the street network.
Highway corridor
The main road running along the south of the lake passes through the municipality, linking Bay with neighbouring towns and anchoring the southern part of the composition.
