Tabula
Chilakalūrupet sits on the flat interior plains of Andhra Pradesh, between Guntur to the north and Ongole to the south. Seen from above, it has no coastline, river or hillside to organise it. The town grows around its own centre and its roads instead. Close-set lanes fill the older core, and the pattern loosens towards the edges, where the grid gives way to field boundaries and scattered settlements.
The strongest line on the map is the national highway linking Chennai and Kolkata, which runs past the town on its long route up India's east side. Local roads leave the centre and head towards neighbouring towns and villages, so the street plan looks like a hub with spokes. The town is part of Palnadu district and has long served as a market for the farming country around it.
A Chilakalūrupet map poster keeps this outline in plain black lines on a light ground. The dense heart of the town shows up as a dark cluster, the highway as one confident stroke, and the farmland beyond as quiet open space. Without a coastline or river to rely on, the drawing depends on the texture of the streets, and that makes it read as a personal map rather than a picture of a landmark.
The Chennai–Kolkata national highway passes the town as one long, steady line. It sets the scale of the whole composition and links Chilakalūrupet to Guntur and Ongole.
Near the centre, short lanes and tightly packed blocks form the darkest part of the map. The pattern comes from generations of gradual growth, not a planned layout.
Secondary roads run out from the centre in several directions. As they cross the flat agricultural plain, the streets thin out and plenty of white space opens up around the town.

Cur Chilakalūrupet
For people who grew up in Chilakalūrupet or still have family there, the map brings back something photographs rarely do. It shows the lanes walked every day, the road out towards the highway and the edge where town meets field. It works as a quiet reminder of home in a flat or an office far away.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a wedding date or simply the town's latitude. There are five styles to choose from: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Order the HD files for $9 in six print sizes, or have a matte print shipped, with an optional wooden frame.
