Hillside switchbacks
Where roads leave the valley floor, they fold into tight bends to climb the slopes. These zigzags are among the most expressive lines on the poster.

Ersheng Map Poster & Print
Ersheng is a small town in Chongqing municipality, in the hill country beyond the dense urban core. The wider region is known for long, narrow ridges with valleys between them. That grain of the land shapes most of the lines on the map, from main roads to farm tracks.
The town itself is a compact cluster where several roads meet, with short streets packed into the available flat ground. Outside it, roads wind along valley floors and climb in switchbacks where they have to cross higher ground. Houses and fields thin out gradually toward the wooded slopes.
Chongqing is one of the largest municipalities in China, yet much of its territory is rural and hilly, and places like Ersheng show that side of it. An Ersheng map poster frames the town at close range, so its own streets and the curving roads around it stay clear and readable.

Compact town core
The center is a small, dense knot of streets squeezed onto level ground. It stands in clear contrast to the open, lightly marked countryside around it.
Valley roads
Longer routes follow the low ground between hills and tie scattered homes and farms back to the town. This gives the map a quiet sense of direction.

Tabula quae aliquid significat
Many people from Chongqing's outer districts now live in the city or abroad. For them, a map of the town they come from is a precise, personal reminder of home. The winding lines also work simply as a graphic piece on a plain wall.
Write your own title and subtitle, perhaps a family name or a year, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and order it as HD files or as a printed poster.
