Hill-shaped streets
The town's streets bend around the terrain rather than running straight. This gives the centre a soft, irregular outline that differs from the grid of most newer Chinese towns.

Guangshun Map Poster & Print
Guangshun lies in the western part of Chongqing municipality, where the Sichuan Basin breaks into low hills. On a map the settlement does not follow a strict grid. Streets curve to fit the terrain, and around the built-up area a dense web of small roads and paths links hamlets, ponds and fields across the slopes.
This is a working rural landscape of rice paddies, reservoirs and farm villages, and it is known less for monuments than for the pattern of the land. That pattern shows up clearly in line work. Small water bodies are scattered through the countryside, and the roads trace the edges of hills.
A Guangshun map poster turns that intricate countryside into a fine, even texture of lines. The town centre forms a denser patch, and the surrounding network of lanes and waterways fills the rest of the sheet. The result is detailed without being busy, and it has the look of a hand-drawn survey.

Ponds and reservoirs
Small reservoirs and farm ponds are spread across the countryside. In black and white they appear as scattered solid shapes that break up the fine network of roads.
Village lane network
A dense mesh of narrow roads connects farms and hamlets across the hills. At poster scale it becomes an intricate background texture that covers the whole sheet.
