Indented coastline
Bays, inlets and small headlands shape the town's eastern edge. On the poster the coast forms a detailed, irregular line against the open Pacific.

Kadogawa Map Poster & Print
Kadogawa is a town in northern Miyazaki Prefecture, on the Pacific coast of Kyushu between the cities of Hyūga and Nobeoka. From above it is a town of water and slopes. An indented coastline forms bays and inlets, the built-up area occupies the narrow flat land along the shore, and forested hills rise directly behind it.
Fishing has long been central to life here, and the harbour takes up a prominent part of the waterfront. On a map, breakwaters and quays add sharp, straight lines to an otherwise organic coastline. Roads and a railway line thread along the coast, squeezed between the sea and the hills.
A Kadogawa map poster captures that layered arrangement: the ragged coast, the thin band of streets and the wide, empty hills. It is a composition with a lot of open space, which gives it a calm, spare look in black and white, well suited to the quiet character of a small coastal town.

Fishing harbour
Breakwaters and quays enclose the harbour on the waterfront. Their straight lines stand out sharply against the natural curves of the shore.
Wooded hills
Forested slopes rise right behind the coastal strip. They leave the inland part of the map largely empty, framing the settled land along the sea.
