The Indus
The river runs past the town with a wide, braided channel and broad banks, forming the largest natural feature on the map and a strong edge to the design.

Kashmor lies in the far north of Sindh, on the right bank of the Indus, close to where the province meets Punjab and Balochistan. On a map the town is a compact grid of streets set against the wide floodplain of the river, with irrigation canals and farm roads stretching out across the level ground. The Indus itself dominates the eastern side of the view.
The nearby Guddu Barrage, completed in the early 1960s, controls the Indus here and feeds a large irrigation network, as well as supporting a major power station. That infrastructure shapes the surrounding landscape, turning dry land into farmland crossed by channels that show clearly on a map.
A Kashmor map poster places a small town beside one of the world's great rivers. The regular streets, the lines of canals and the broad, braided course of the Indus give the design a strong sense of scale. It is a composition built on water and flat land, simple in outline but full of detail.

Upstream, the Guddu Barrage controls the Indus and supplies the irrigation canals of the region, making it one of the key engineering works in northern Sindh.
Canal-lined farmland
Around Kashmor, irrigation channels and field roads cut the flat land into regular strips, adding precise lines across the open areas of the poster.
