Tabula

Koblenz Map Poster & Print

Koblenz is shaped by two rivers. The Moselle enters from the west and the Rhine flows past from the south, and they meet at the Deutsches Eck, a sharp point of land at the tip of the old town. From above, the historic centre fills the triangle behind this headland, with narrow streets and small squares closed in by water on two sides.

Across the Rhine, the Ehrenbreitstein fortress sits on a high rock above the east bank, and a cable car crosses the river toward it. Bridges connect the districts on both sides of each river, so the map resolves into several separate sections joined by clear lines.

The city stands at the northern end of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape of castles and vineyards. A Koblenz map poster shows the confluence at the centre, a composition that almost designs itself.

Deutsches Eck

The pointed headland where the Moselle meets the Rhine forms the sharp tip of the old town and the natural focal point of the map.

02

Ehrenbreitstein heights

On the east bank, the fortress plateau rises above the river, with fewer streets and a strongly defined outline against the water below.

03

Bridges and banks

Several bridges link districts across both rivers, dividing the city into distinct sections connected by straight crossings.
