Mikołów Map Poster & Print
Mikołów is one of the oldest towns in Upper Silesia, just southwest of Katowice, and its plan still has a historic core. At the centre is the market square, the rynek, with streets leaving each corner in the usual pattern of a Polish chartered town. Around it, later housing, industrial land and main roads spread across the gently rolling landscape.
The surrounding area is greener than many people expect in Silesia. Woods and ponds lie at the edge of town, and Mikołów is home to the Silesian Botanical Garden, which appears on the map as a large open area of paths and planted sections. Major roads to Katowice and Tychy define the town's outer edges.
A Mikołów map poster frames the whole town: the dense old square, the wider streets around it, and the green spaces beyond. The contrast between the compact medieval core and the open land around it gives the print a clear structure. It makes a fitting gift for people from Mikołów, or for anyone who knows the town beyond the nearby Katowice conurbation.

Botanical garden
The Silesian Botanical Garden forms a broad open area on the edge of town. Its winding paths contrast with the more regular streets nearby.
Ponds and woods
Small bodies of water and patches of woodland surround the town. They leave open shapes on the map that soften the edges of the urban area.

Tabula quae aliquid significat
Locals hang Mikołów to see their own streets around the old square, and people who have moved away keep it as a quiet link to home. The historic core makes the layout recognisable at a glance.
Add a title and subtitle, perhaps in Polish, adjust the coordinates, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files for all six print sizes cost $9, and matte printed posters are also available.
