Valley streets
The town follows the lower ground between hills, so its main streets run in long, curving lines. You can see the terrain in the layout even without contour lines.

Panlong Map Poster & Print
Panlong is a town in the northeastern part of Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country between the Yangtze and the Sichuan basin. From above, the landscape defines everything. The built-up area stretches along valley bottoms and low saddles, and roads curve around the contours instead of running straight.
Like many towns in this part of Chongqing, Panlong is surrounded by small farms, with terraced fields, ponds and village paths spread across the slopes. The main streets carry traffic and trade through the town, and narrower lanes branch off toward housing and the countryside.
A Panlong map poster shows a place shaped by its terrain. Because there is almost no flat land, the street pattern bends, branches and doubles back, so even a small town produces a detailed, organic design. Winding country roads and scattered settlements fill the space around the centre.

Winding approaches
Roads into Panlong twist along ridges and slopes. On the poster they look like fine, looping lines across the countryside around the town.
Terraced countryside
Farmland, ponds and small hamlets surround the town. Their scattered paths create a light, even texture that frames the denser centre.

Cur Panlong
Tabula quae aliquid significat
For families from Panlong living in Chongqing's big districts or farther away, a map of the hometown is a strong reminder of where they come from. The curving streets also make it an interesting design on its own.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a year, and set the coordinates line. Then choose one of five styles. Sand and Paper give a softer look, while Noir brings out the winding roads.
