Lake Tempe
The large, shallow lake near the town is known for floating homes and fishing. Its broad expanse and soft shoreline give the map a calm, open side.

Sengkang Map Poster & Print
Sengkang is the main town of Wajo Regency in South Sulawesi, and on a map it is defined by its closeness to Lake Tempe, a broad, shallow lake in the lowlands of the province. The town sits near the lake's edge, and river channels connect the water to the surrounding plains, giving the map a strong sense of wet, low-lying ground.
Lake Tempe is known for its floating houses and for the fishing communities who live and work on it, while Sengkang itself has a long reputation for silk weaving, with Sengkang silk recognised across Indonesia. The town's streets form a fairly compact network, with the river and the lake shaping where it can expand.
A Sengkang map poster brings that landscape into focus: the curve of the waterways, the dense town grid and the open plains beyond. It is a simple composition, but one closely tied to the water that supports daily life here.

River channels
Waterways link the lake to the town and surrounding lowlands, drawing curving lines through the map and shaping the direction in which streets and settlement extend.
Compact town centre
Sengkang's streets form a tight core, the commercial heart of Wajo Regency and a centre for the silk weaving the town is known for.
