Hill-shaped streets
The town's roads bend and fork to follow the terrain, producing an irregular, organic street pattern that feels very different from the grids of the plains.

Taihe Map Poster & Print
Taihe lies in the western part of Chongqing municipality, in the rounded hill country of the eastern Sichuan Basin. This is a landscape of low ridges, terraced fields and scattered farmhouses, and the town occupies a patch of gentler ground among them. On a map, its streets are short and slightly irregular, adapting to the slopes rather than imposing a strict grid.
China has several places called Taihe, and this one is a local centre for the surrounding countryside rather than a large city. Newer roads and residential blocks have extended it in recent years, but the overall pattern stays modest, with the built-up area fading quickly into fields and wooded hills in every direction.
A Taihe map poster is a gentle, detailed image of a hill town within the vast Chongqing municipality. It works well for people from the area who now live in the city centre, in Chengdu or further afield, and who want the exact, familiar shape of home on the wall.

Terraced countryside
Around the town, farmland climbs the slopes in narrow bands, and rural lanes trace the ridgelines, giving the edges of the map a fine, layered texture.
Compact centre
The older core is small and tightly built, with newer residential blocks added along the main approach roads as the town has grown outward.
