Teolocholco Map Poster & Print
Teolocholco sits in the state of Tlaxcala, on the lower western slopes of La Malinche, the large dormant volcano that rises between Tlaxcala and Puebla. On a map, the town's streets form a broad grid around a central square. Its outer edges break into long field strips and tracks that run up towards the mountain.
The slope gives the map a sense of direction. Many roads and plots follow the fall of the land, and small ravines carved by runoff from the volcano cut across the fields in thin lines. The town is close to the city of Tlaxcala and linked to it by regional roads.
A Teolocholco map poster suits families from the town and anyone who knows the countryside around La Malinche. The mix of an orderly centre and long field lines towards the volcano makes a composition that feels grounded in the landscape.

Town square grid
A regular grid of streets centres on the main plaza and church, the traditional core of Tlaxcala towns and the anchor of the poster.
Field strips and ravines
Long narrow plots and small ravines stretch out from the town, adding fine parallel lines that read well in monochrome.
