Tuxpan Map Poster & Print
Tuxpan, Nayarit, not to be confused with the Veracruz port of the same name, lies on the low coastal plain of northern Nayarit beside the San Pedro River. On the map the town forms a mostly regular grid of blocks. The river curves nearby, and the flat land around it is divided into fields and farm roads.
West of the town, toward the Pacific, the plain dissolves into Marismas Nacionales, one of the largest mangrove and wetland systems on Mexico's Pacific coast and a protected biosphere reserve. The San Pedro is one of the rivers that feed this landscape of lagoons and channels, and even a street map of the area hints at how much water shapes the region.
A Tuxpan map poster sets the ordered blocks of the town against the looping river and the open farmland of the coastal plain. It is a natural choice for people from Tuxpan, whether they still live there or have moved away, and for anyone fond of quiet river towns.

Town blocks
The centre follows a largely regular grid of streets and square blocks, a compact, even texture that contrasts with the river's curves.
Coastal plain
Flat farmland surrounds the town, marked by rural roads and water channels, and leads west toward the lagoons and mangroves of the Pacific coast.
