Colonial grid core
The centre follows the Spanish colonial pattern of square blocks set around a plaza. The layout prints as an even checkerboard of fine lines at the heart of the sheet.

Villa de Cura Map Poster & Print
Villa de Cura sits in a valley of the Aragua highlands, south of the lake basin around Maracay. From above, the town is a tidy grid of blocks among green slopes. The hills close in on several sides, so the built area stretches along its main approaches instead of spreading evenly, and its outline is long and fairly narrow.
The town grew as a stop on the old route between Venezuela's central valleys and the llanos, the great plains of the interior. The map still shows that role. A through road runs across the grid, and secondary streets branch off it toward farms and small settlements tucked into the folds of the surrounding terrain, which gives the whole drawing a clear sense of direction.
A Villa de Cura map poster keeps things as simple as the place: straight blocks, a few longer roads, and the loose edge where streets give way to open country. In black and white, the contrast between the regular centre and the uneven hillside fringe carries the whole composition and leaves the town looking calm and precise on the wall.

Road to the llanos
A main road passes through town on its way south toward the plains. It forms a clear spine on the map, and the smaller streets are arranged around it.
Hills at the edge
The surrounding slopes limit where streets can go, so the town's outline is uneven. Neighbourhoods reach into side valleys instead of spreading out in a neat circle.

Cur Villa de Cura
Tabula quae aliquid significat
For people from Aragua, this is the town between the valley and the plains, a place of family visits and long drives south. A poster of its grid keeps that crossing point on the wall, whether you live far away or just down the road.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed to show a family name, a street or a year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. You can download the $9 HD files in six sizes or order a printed matte poster with an optional wooden frame.
