Planned blocks
The town was built from the 1950s with regular streets and housing blocks. On the poster its grid reads clearly as an ordered, deliberate plan.

Vilnohirsk Map Poster & Print
Vilnohirsk is a town in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in central Ukraine, on the right bank of the Dnipro. It was founded in the 1950s to serve the mining of titanium and zirconium ores, and from above its planned origins are clear. The residential area is laid out in regular blocks and wide streets, typical of Soviet towns built for a single industry.
The mining and processing works lie close to the town, and their open pits and tailings areas form large, irregular shapes on the map. A Vilnohirsk map poster shows the contrast between the orderly housing districts and the broad, reshaped land of the mineral workings around them.
The Dnipro, widened here by the reservoir system, forms the eastern boundary of the area, with its shoreline broken by bays and inlets. Between the town, the industrial zone and the water, fields and patches of woodland remain. In black and white, the map combines the precision of a planned town with the scale of the river.

Open-pit workings and processing sites spread across the land near town. They form large, irregular shapes that contrast with the tidy residential streets.
Dnipro shoreline
The river, widened by reservoirs, borders the area with a long, indented shoreline. It frames the map with a broad expanse of water.
