Valley streets
The town's streets follow the shape of the land. They bend along valleys and slopes, creating an irregular, organic street pattern at the centre.

Xiongjia Map Poster & Print
Xiongjia is a town in the north-east of Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country of the upper Yangtze region. The map shows a settlement shaped by terrain: streets follow valley floors and hillsides, rather than a regular grid, and roads wind through the surrounding hills to link it with neighbouring towns.
The landscape of this part of Chongqing is steep and deeply folded, with terraced fields and scattered villages on the slopes. On the poster, this shows up as a pattern of curving roads and small clusters of buildings, with the town itself forming the densest point where the ground levels out.
A Xiongjia map poster suits people with family ties to the area, including many who have moved to larger cities. The winding lines of the roads give the design an organic, flowing quality, and the compact centre provides a clear focus. It is a quiet, detailed map of a place rarely drawn for display.
