Compact centre
The streets are grouped closely around the middle of town. The result is a small, legible core that sits well in the centre of a print.

Filadélfia Map Poster & Print
Filadélfia lies in the interior of northern Bahia, in the semi-arid country known as the sertão. From above, the town is small and compact. A few main streets form the core, and short blocks fill the space between them. Around the edges, the urban pattern loosens into roads and tracks that lead out to farms and smaller communities across the dry land.
Like many towns in this part of Bahia, Filadélfia is closely tied to the surrounding countryside and to the seasons that shape life in the sertão. The name, taken from the Greek for brotherly love, is shared with several places around the world. That gives this one a quiet distinction of its own.
A Filadélfia map poster is a study in economy. There are no large rivers or coastline to fill the frame, so the design depends on the modest street pattern and the lines radiating out into open land. That simplicity is exactly what makes it work on a wall.

Roads into the sertão
Roads leave town in several directions and cross the open country. On the map they look like fine threads spreading outwards from the built-up area.
Open surroundings
Much of the frame is empty land, and that open space is part of the design. It gives the town a strong, isolated silhouette.
