Seine meander
The river curves along the southern edge of town. As a wide, smooth band it anchors the whole poster and marks the natural boundary of the old centre.

Herblay-sur-Seine Map Poster & Print
Herblay-sur-Seine sits on the right bank of the Seine northwest of Paris, where the river swings through one of its broad meanders. From above, the water curves along the town's southern edge. The older streets gather near the bank, and newer neighbourhoods spread onto the plateau behind them. The river is the one element that holds the whole composition together.
The town was known simply as Herblay until 2018, when it added the river to its name. That fits, because the Seine shapes both the map and daily life here, with towpaths, moorings and views across to the forested land on the opposite bank. The old church stands on the slope above the water, near the historic centre.
A Herblay-sur-Seine map poster shows that change of scale clearly. Near the river the streets are tight and follow the slope. Further inland they open into looser residential blocks and road links heading towards the rest of the Val-d'Oise. Leaving the river as clean negative space makes the meander look almost sculpted.

Old centre on the slope
The oldest streets gather on the bank above the water. They make a small, dense cluster that stands apart from the more spacious neighbourhoods further up the plateau.
Plateau neighbourhoods
Away from the river the street pattern loosens into curved residential lanes and larger blocks. Together they show how the town grew outward from its riverside core.
