Old town core
Narrow, irregular streets gather around the market square, the Stiftskirche and the palace. They form a dense cluster that stands out clearly against the wider, more regular outer districts.

Öhringen Map Poster & Print
Öhringen lies in the Hohenlohe region of north-eastern Baden-Württemberg, in the valley of the Ohrn, a small river that winds through the town. From above, the historic centre is easy to pick out: a compact knot of irregular medieval streets around the market square, the collegiate church and the former Hohenlohe residence. Beyond it, newer districts spread in looser curves across the gently rolling countryside.
The town goes back to Roman times. Two forts once stood here on the Upper Germanic Limes, the frontier that is now part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, Öhringen became a seat of the Hohenlohe family, and the Stiftskirche still holds their tombs. In 2016 the town hosted the Baden-Württemberg state garden show, which reshaped green space along the Ohrn.
A Öhringen map poster shows these layers side by side: the tight medieval core, the palace and its park, the river's winding green band and the modern neighbourhoods around them. The contrast between old and new street patterns gives the black-and-white print real depth, and the whole town fits comfortably on one sheet.

The Ohrn valley
The small Ohrn river curves through the town. Parkland along its banks, partly reworked for the 2016 state garden show, runs as a soft green thread across the map.
Palace and garden
The former Hohenlohe residence sits at the edge of the old centre with its palace garden beside it, an open space that anchors the historic town on the poster.
