North Saskatchewan River
The wide river crosses the map from west to east. It separates the main city on the south bank from the northern districts and gives the poster a strong horizontal axis.

Prince Albert Map Poster & Print
Prince Albert stands on the North Saskatchewan River in central Saskatchewan, near the transition between the southern grasslands and the northern forest. Most of the city is built on the south bank, where a regular grid of numbered streets and avenues rises gently from the river. A smaller district and a good deal of wooded land occupy the northern side.
The settlement began in 1866 as a Presbyterian mission founded by James Nisbet, and it is one of the oldest communities in the province. It is often called the Gateway to the North, because the roads toward Prince Albert National Park and the lake country beyond pass through it. Bridges carry road and rail traffic across the river.
A Prince Albert map poster gives the river a central role. Its broad channel divides the composition, and the straight streets of the city meet it in an orderly pattern. The result is clear and structured, and the open land and forest around the city soften every edge of the frame.

Avenue and street grid
Central Prince Albert is laid out in a regular grid of numbered streets and avenues, which makes the downtown and older residential areas easy to read at any scale.
Edge of the forest
Toward the north the road network thins and tree cover takes over, a first hint of the boreal landscape that begins just beyond the city limits.

Kodėl Prince Albert
Žemėlapis, kuris kažką reiškia
Prince Albert is where many people start trips north, and for others it is simply home, with long winters and a river that freezes into a white band. A map of the city keeps that setting close, whether it hangs in a cabin, an apartment or an office.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be edited, so the poster can mark a move, a wedding or a family history. Pick one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order the $9 HD files or a printed poster from a nearby print partner.
