Icod de los Vinos is a town on the north coast of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. It is famous for the Drago Milenario, a very old dragon tree that has become a symbol of the island. Nearby is the Cueva del Viento, one of the longest volcanic lava tubes in the world. The land behind it rises steadily toward Teide.
The map shows a town on a slope. The historic centre, with its squares and the park around the dragon tree, sits on the hillside. Streets wind up and down, following the terrain instead of a grid.
