Juigalpa Map Poster & Print
Juigalpa is the capital of Chontales Department in central Nicaragua. It sits on rising ground in cattle country, looking east towards the Amerrisque mountains. On a map the town is laid out as a fairly regular grid that adjusts to the slopes, with roads branching off towards ranches and villages.
The region is known across the country for cattle ranching and dairy production, and the open land around Juigalpa reflects this. The town also has a museum known for its collection of pre-Columbian stone statues from the Chontales area.
A Juigalpa map poster balances a compact town grid with wide open country. Main roads lead towards the Atlantic side of the country and back towards the lakes. The steady grid and the long rural roads give the print a calm, grounded character suited to its setting.
