Mahīshādal Map Poster & Print
Mahīshādal is a town in the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal, near the industrial port city of Haldia and the wide Hooghly estuary. It is best known for the Mahishadal Rajbari, the palace of the former local zamindars, whose grounds and tanks remain a landmark. On a map the town is a mix of dense lanes and green open spaces.
The flat delta landscape is full of ponds and tanks, which appear as dozens of small solid shapes among the streets and fields. Roads connect the town to Haldia, Tamluk and the surrounding villages, and rivers and channels wind across the plain toward the estuary. The overall pattern is intricate, with water in almost every part of the map.
A Mahīshādal map poster brings the palace grounds, the web of lanes and the watery landscape together in one calm composition. It is a meaningful piece for families from Medinipur and for anyone interested in the old estates of Bengal. The many small ponds give the print a delicate texture that rewards a closer look.

Ponds everywhere
Countless village ponds and tanks dot the delta. Drawn as small solid shapes, they give the whole poster a scattered, rhythmic pattern.
Estuary country
Rivers and tidal channels wind toward the nearby Hooghly estuary. Their long curving lines frame the town within Bengal's low coastal plain.
