Narang Mandi Map Poster & Print
Narang Mandi is a town in Pakistan's Punjab province, on the fertile plain between Lahore and the areas to its north. As the word mandi suggests, it grew as a market town serving the surrounding farmland. From above, it is a compact area of dense streets surrounded on all sides by fields.
The land here is flat and intensively farmed, crossed by roads and irrigation channels that run in long straight lines. The town's streets are tight and irregular near the older market area and become more open toward the edges, where roads lead out to nearby villages.
A Narang Mandi map poster shows a pattern common across the Punjab plain: a dense core, radiating roads and a wide agricultural setting. It is a small, specific place, and the map is meant for those who know it from family, work or childhood.
