Okavango River
The river meanders nearby, forming a natural border and drawing a soft curving line that gives the whole composition its orientation.

Ndiyona Map Poster & Print
Ndiyona lies in the Kavango East region of northeastern Namibia, close to the Okavango River, which forms the border with Angola along this stretch. From above, the settlement looks quite different from a compact town: homesteads and small clusters are spread over a wide area, linked by tracks and a main road running roughly parallel to the river.
The river is central to life in the Kavango regions, and the land near it is used for farming and grazing. On a black-and-white map, the Okavango traces a slow, meandering line, and the settlement pattern follows its direction, loosely gathered where water and road are both close.
A Ndiyona map poster captures a landscape of open space and fine connecting lines. There is no dense grid here; instead the sheet shows how people settle along a river and a road across a wide, flat country. The result is quiet and spacious, and very much its own.

Main road
A principal road runs through the area roughly along the river, acting as the spine from which smaller tracks branch toward homesteads.
Dispersed settlement
Homes and small clusters spread across the land rather than forming a single centre, creating a light, scattered pattern on the page.
