Yaizu Map Poster & Print
Yaizu is a port city in Shizuoka Prefecture, facing Suruga Bay on Japan's Pacific coast. On a map, the harbour is the defining feature. Enclosed basins, piers and breakwaters cut a sharp geometric outline into the shoreline. Behind them, low neighbourhoods fill the coastal plain, and the Oi river delta lies to the south. The Tomei Expressway and the Tokaido Main Line run inland, parallel to the coast.
Yaizu is one of Japan's leading fishing ports, especially for skipjack and tuna, and katsuobushi, dried bonito flakes, has long been a local speciality. The city also has a darker place in history. It was the home port of the Daigo Fukuryū Maru, the fishing boat exposed to fallout from the 1954 Bikini Atoll nuclear test. On clear days, Mount Fuji can be seen across the bay.
A Yaizu map poster balances hard industrial lines with the soft edge of the sea. The port's basins and breakwaters are drawn in precise shapes. The town fills the land between the coast and the hills, and the delta adds gentle curves to the south. It is a portrait of a city that has always looked toward the water.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
For people connected to Yaizu through fishing families, work or childhood, a map of the harbour city is a quiet tribute. Its strong port geometry also stands out as a graphic piece.
Add a title, a date or the coordinates line, and pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint gives the harbour a nautical-chart look, while Noir makes the bay read as deep black.
