Gīnch’ī is a town in the Oromia region of Ethiopia, west of Addis Ababa on the road toward Ambo. It lies in the central highlands, at an altitude where cool air and fertile soil support farming across wide rolling land. As with many towns along Ethiopia's main roads, the busiest part of Gīnch’ī sits right beside the highway, where shops, services and markets gather.
